Abstract
Support for agricultural mechanization can help Indonesia economic development because agriculture is an important sector as well as very supportive agricultural resources. In an effort to increase rice productivity, the government provides agricultural tools and machinery for pre-harvest to post-harvest such as combine harvesters to farmer groups. With good management, it is hoped that the existing assistance can be well received. This research was carried out using a survey method. The analytical method is used to analyze management of the use of government-assisted combine harvesters in Wajo Regency and economic performance in the use of government-assisted combine harvesters in Wajo Regency which includes costs, income, efficiency and break even point. From the interviews that have been conducted, researchers focus on management functions. So the results obtained were that respondents 1 to 4 had carried out management functions, while respondent 5 had only carried out some of the management functions. The research results show that the Sipurennu farmer group, Laecu I farmer group, Padaidi farmer group, and Sipatuo farmer group get their respective net income. each amounting to Rp. 24,820,389 Rp. 42,777,199 Rp. 35,935,199 and Rp. 62,758,343, so the RCR for these 4 respondents is 1, which means the business is profitable and can be developed. Meanwhile, for private ownership respondents, the net income is IDR -8,393,301, so the RCR is 1, which means the business is not profitable.
