Dynamics System for The Spread of Anthrax in Livestock a) b) d) e) Department of Mathematics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Musamus, Merauke, Indonesia Abstract Anthrax is a zoonotic disease caused by the bacteria Bacillus Anthracis. This disease attacks livestock such as cattle, horses, goats, sheep and pigs and also be transmitted to humans. The aim of this paper is to develop a mathematical model for the spread of anthrax in livestock. The Routh Hurwitz approach was used to analyze the generated for the stability from the endemic equilibrium point. The next generation matrix is used to calculate the basic reproduction number, which is then used to study disease endemism. A numerical analysis was performed to observe the resulting population dynamics. According to the analysis and numerical simulation results, it was found that the effectiveness of vaccines and treatment in infected animals is the most significant parameter in controlling the spread of disease. The number of infected populations can be decreased by enforcing a higher quarantine rate.
