Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of mutual cooperation values in character building of students through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at SMPN 14 Jakarta. Mutual cooperation was chosen because of its importance in fostering a sense of cooperation and solidarity among students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis related to the implementation of P5. The results of the study indicate that the integration of mutual cooperation values into P5 can increase students active participation, empathy, and social responsibility. Collaborative projects have proven effective in strengthening students character. Teachers play an important role in facilitating mutual cooperation practices through interactive learning activities. In conclusion, the implementation of mutual cooperation in P5 plays an important role in shaping students caring and responsible character. This study suggests that schools consistently support P5 activities that emphasize mutual cooperation. Teachers are encouraged to be more innovative in designing collaborative learning projects, and parents and the community should be more involved in supporting students character development.
