Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategies used by Islamic boarding schools in developing national insight. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Techniques used for data collection- interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires, as well as credibility testing using triangulation. Based on the research findings, it shows that the strategy for developing national insight was formed due to the enactment of Law Number 18 of 2019 concerning Islamic Boarding Schools which requires all Islamic boarding schools to be committed to practicing the Islamic values of rahmatan lil alamin based on Pancasila, then for the strategy implemented is the existence of state administration lessons, history and geography that contains material on national insight in formal schools, then for other activities there are Scouts, the raising of the red and white flag every August 17 and national insight seminars held by several parties, for the evaluation process it can be concluded that the growth of national insight in Islamic boarding schools Modern Daar El-Istiqomah Banten has been implemented contextually based on Law Number 18 of 2019 concerning Islamic Boarding Schools.
