Inconsistencies in the Education Curriculum in Indonesia Have a Direct Impact on Learning Pancasila Education

Abstract

The problems that are so complex approach the world of education, one of which is related to changes in the curriculum that is enforced in Indonesia.. Curriculum inconsistencies caused by government policies that are very political have a big impact on society. This study aims to analyze, compare and evaluate the national education curriculum system, especially in the subject of Pancasila Education. This study uses a qualitative approach with the method of literature. The data analysis technique in this study used content analysis, which attempted to describe the results of the analysis conducted by the researcher. The result found in this study is that a good educational curriculum system is when the curriculum has been evaluated and is in accordance with the needs of the 21st century society and the demands of science and technology development. No matter how good the educational curriculum is, if there is no readiness from the teacher as the spearhead of education it will not be successful. The learning system which is the soul of the educational curriculum itself is not in accordance with the desired plan and process. This is because the old problem of curriculum inconsistency and changes in the nomenclature of Pancasila education education subjects due to the egocentricity of the authorities disrupted the existing national education system and standards.
