The Instrument Design for Program Learning Outcomes (PLO) Assessment at Physics Department Mulawarman University 1) Physics Department Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science Mulawarman University, Jl.Barong Tongkok No.4 , Kampus Gn. Kelua, Samarinda 75123, Indonesia Abstract The Learning Outcome Program (PLO) which includes aspects for attitude, general skills, specific skills and knowledge are important to measure its achievement. This study aimed to design instrument for PLO assessment at Physics Department Mulawarman University. The data needed to design this instrument were student grade transcripts and PLO list of Study Program. This work included two stages. Firstly, input student data into the student matrix of a batch along the corresponding grades of course that have been passed per semester. Secondly, Generate adequacy curve, depth curve, and utility curve based on the values in the matrix. The results measurement includes the aspects of attitudes formation, general skills, specific skills and knowledge. The achievement of this aspects are at a percentage value of 87%, 80%, 80% and 60% respectively. Characteristics of PLO Fulfillment in Depth Aspect According to Curriculum Design is reflected in the percentage of achievement of High Order Thinking Skills (HOT) which is at 70%. While the PLO Fulfillment Characteristics in the Aspect of Usefulness has a percentage value of 77%. Keywords: attitude aspect, general skills, specific skills, knowledge aspects, Curriculum Design Topic: MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE EDUCATIONS |
