Spreading of Quantum Information in a Locally Driven Quantum Many-Body System (a) Theoretical Physics Lab, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Bandung, Indonesia Abstract The information propagation in a non-relativistic quantum system with short-range interactions is bounded by the Lieb-Robison limit. The existence of such an effective ^light-cone^ has profound implications for quantum transport and quantum information processing. We investigate spreading of quantum correlation encoded in an integrable quantum many-body spin system with a periodically driven local impurity. Specifically, we calculate the time evolution of two-point correlations using exact diagonalization to uncover the full quantum behavior. Here we study the correlation dynamics in weak and strong interaction regimes. Our results extend the understanding of quantum systems far from equilibrium and may open perspectives for engineering efficient quantum computations.
