Abstract
Managing readiness for change in the digital sharing economy is critical, given that the transition to a digital sharing economy by SMEs is difficult and fraught with obstacles even though the digital sharing economy provides many benefits. SMEs need the preparation readiness model as a bridge to implement it, considering that the previous model was not very supportive. This study shows how to create a conceptual model for managing change readiness (CMRA) in the digital sharing economy for SMEs. The meta-analysis approach was chosen for conceptual model development. They include data extraction, synthesis, mapping, adopting, combining, and adapting. The study^s findings identified seven key constructs with a non-directional hypothesis for the CMRA conceptual model that would require further validation in future studies. The study also redefined the seven key constructs. Through a structured, systematic, and transparent CMRA model conceptual development process that provides a practical foundation for future research, this research makes a theoretically significant contribution to the digital sharing economy literature.
