Design of Green House Information System Using Virtual Reality

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problem of students being limited in understanding what a greenhouse looks like in the agricultural sector. Due to the minimal availability of greenhouses in the West Java, coupled with the manufacturing process which requires a lot of time and money, a research idea was born to create a virtual greenhouse using virtual reality (VR) technology. The research method used is the multimedia development life cycle (MDLC) with stages of concept, design, asset creation, asset assembly, internal testing, and distribution for limited testing. The result of this research is a virtual reality application with a greenhouse theme for agriculture which will be introduced to elementary school students and middle school students.
