Proposed Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Co-Digester Anaerobic in Biogas Production

Abstract

Biogas production through co-digestion in anaerobic digesters has gained significant attention as a sustainable energy & green house gas solution. However, optimizing the performance and efficiency of co-digester systems remains a challenge. This paper presents a proposed application of artificial intelligence (AI) in co-digester anaerobic processes for biogas production. The proposed AI system aims to enhance the control, monitoring, and optimization of co-digester operations. By integrating AI, the system can analyze real-time data from various sensors and make informed decisions to improve process efficiency. It enables the system to adapt and respond dynamically to changing conditions, such as feedstock composition, temperature, pH levels, and hydraulic loading. The application of AI has the potential to revolutionize the way co-digesters are operated, monitored, and optimized. Even so, further research and development are necessary to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed AI system in real-world co-digester applications.
