Abstract

Learning outcomes are the grades achieved by a student in a class. The current condition shows the low student learning outcomes, especially in subjects that require a high understanding of concepts such as biology, one of which is the respiratory system material. Therefore, students need innovative, engaging, interactive, and fun media that can help them understand biological material by visualizing the shape, structure, and location of the organs that make up the body system. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of learning media augmented reality respiratory system (AR Sinaps) in learning biology on the learning outcomes of high school students. This research was conducted in February-March at SMA Negeri 18 Bekasi. This research method is a quasi-experiment with a posttest-only control group design. The sample of this study amounted to 60 students, with each class totaling 30 students. The data analysis technique used is the Mann-Whitney test with a significant level (&#120572-) = 0.05. The average value of learning outcomes obtained by the experimental class is 90.60, and the control class is 76.07. Based on the Mann-Whitney test, this research showed the effect of Augmented Reality Respiratory System (AR Sinaps) Learning Media significantly on High school students^ learning outcomes.
