Abstract
This research aims to explore further related to the conception and effectiveness of Empowering leadership which in recent years has become an important study, especially in the discussion of organizational culture, being important because empowering leadership is very influential on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in the work environment. Therefore, this study uses a systematic research approach to review literature to investigate how effective Empowering leadership is, both in the private sector and Government. The search strategy used in systematic literature review (SLR) is to synthesize 50 articles through Scopus and Crossref database from 2018 to 2022 with the support of the VOS Viewer application to provide a visual correlation picture. The results showed that based on Exclusion meeting the criteria, as many as 13 scientific articles that meet the qualifications of reputable international journals relevantly discuss empowering leadership of OCB. The findings of this study support evidence of the positive effects of empowering leadership on performance, organizational civic behavior (OCB) and increased creativity at the individual and group levels.
