Abstract

Following a brief explanation of the function of Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) and the challenges in financing MSMEs, this article provides a literature review on the challenges in MSME access to funding, including the history of MSME lending and the challenges that banks face in MSME financing. Based on the articles we^ve read. An overview of MSME financing is sought to evaluate the company^s impact, financial factors, and creditworthiness. The visual elements that affect lending choices are examined in this article, along with the notable variances in loan approval rates imposed on loans issued for businesses owned by MSMEs using data from the 2012 and 2022 Surveys. This finding has implications for initiatives to accelerate MSMEs^ growth and efforts to address the issue of income disparity in those businesses. In conclusion, financial literacy is strongly correlated with financial access, MSMEs^ expansion, and the constraints and policies imposed on them by governmental laws, rules, and regulations
