Abstract

The crisis-era has the potential to harm all parties. Corona Virus (Covid 2019) has been one of the triggers for the health crisis from early 2020 until now. The hospital has become a referral center for treatment for people exposed to the Corona Virus (Covid 2019). The high number of patients and the limited number of resources have caused the safety of medical personnel to be increasingly threatened. This study uses structural equation modeling (SEM) to examine the effect of safety leadership on safety behavior mediated by safety motivation, safety attitude, and safety knowledge. The results of data collection in 25 hospitals with a total of 250 medical personnel and paramedics who directly handle patients exposed to the Corona Virus (Covid 2019) show that safety leadership from hospital management has a positive effect on safety behavior that has been mediated by safety motivation, safety attitude. and safety knowledge
