Abstract

Currently, the sustainability of the organization can be supported through the behavior of sharing knowledge among relevant stakeholders. No exception for organizations in the educational environment, namely the University. The study of knowledge sharing behavior is an important matter to discuss, but studies related to the determinants of knowledge sharing behavior when viewed from the perspective of individuals and organizational management are still very limited. This study tries to explore 2 antecedent variables as part of an important stimulus to reveal knowledge-sharing behavior among educators in Indonesia. This study confirms the conceptual framework of previous research and focuses on variables that have a direct impact on an endogenous variable and become the main problem in this study. The determinants of knowledge sharing behavior are viewed from 2 perspectives, namely individuals through knowledge self-efficacy and from the management side, namely organizational innovation management. The focus on education, especially at private universities in South Tangerang, Indonesia, is part of the sample in this study. This research is based on structural equation modeling using partial least squares to prove the theory of knowledge sharing behavior among lecturers in Indonesia. The results of this study explain that there is a significant direct influence on the knowledge-sharing behavior of the lecturers if the stimulus is using knowledge-self-efficacy in individuals and innovation management in organizations.
