Abstract

In last 20 century, environmental phenomenon that become hot issue of material object discussion is climate change. Climate change phenomenon is changing of climate pattern form normal condition in long time period (>30 years), caused by two factors, namely natural and human factor. However, human behavior in daily activity (anthropogenic factor) presumed the main cause of climate change. So the goal of this study is to know how relationship between environmental concern and value orientation toward climate change adaptive behavior. That is why in this study plan behavior theory has been utilized to investigate the correlation of environmental concern and value orientation on the incarnation of the climate change adaptive behaviors. The data were obtained by survey method, using questionnaire from 100 STMKG cadets who were chosen from male and female cadets of various levels using randomly stratified sampling technique. And then the data was collected will be analysis with correlation technique. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between environmental concern and value orientation toward climate change adaptive behavior. It means that cadets with better environmental concern dan value orientation scores signifying will have more climate change adaptive behavior
