THE EFFECT OF LEARNING ORGANIZATIONAL PRACTICES AND JOB SATISFACTION ON EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT IN AN AGILE ENVIRONMENT: A RESEARCH FRAMEWORK

Abstract

Organizations need agile ways of working in response to changes in people^s behavior that has developed towards digitalization since the pandemic era a few years ago. Such change makes internet service providers need to manage existing services and look for new services opportunities effectively. The role of employees in the organization to support this phenomenon makes them need to improve their abilities so that they can provide the best performance. Companies also need to maintain optimal performance in responding to changes that occur, which this is pursued through fostering employee engagement.
There has been a decline in several aspects of employee engagement since the pandemic era, especially in the areas of engagement, career development and employee empowerment. The occurrence of this is a bad thing for the organization considering employees are important element in supporting the business. Seeing this, the company made adjustments in the way it interacted with employees in order to seek better employee engagement. This is done through the application of learning organization practices and monitoring of employee satisfaction.
The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the impact of learning organization and job satisfaction on employee engagement at PT XYZ. The type of this research is causality verification research, where the respondents are 302 employees. The data collection technique uses a valid and reliable questionnaire, and the data analysis tool uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) - PLS.
