Abstract

Academic activities must move in line with the demands and developments of science and technology, of course in accordance with the demands of society^s needs. It is necessary to design a strategy to encourage the quality and factors that affect the graduation rate of students as a human resource output in the new normal era. The results showed that the quality of graduates was still low in terms of the quantity of graduates. This is indicated by the length of study, the achievement index and the inconsistent commitment of students that affect the semester credit units for the contracted courses. Factors that affect the graduation rate are internal and external motivation, competence and the learning environment in finding digital book reference sources. This limitation is also influenced by the absence of internet data packages for learning, the limited internet network and the high cost of learning facilities in the form of laptops and Android phones. In addition, hard work and innovation, creation, and the ability of lecturers and collaboration with students are needed for the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. So it is suggested 1) There needs to be training and education as well as skills improvement and discussion forums between lecturers and students to build critical thinking in order to understand that the output of their education is to become independent learners, so that they can be motivated. To learn something based on what they have in their own environment and to learn more about technology- and (2) Students are motivated, active, creative and adaptive and consistent with the commitment to achieving the graduation target and are able to take advantage of internet facilities in the form of e-books and journals and have skills and increase their competence, because this is a challenge for humans in the digital era entering the era. new normal.
