Standing at the 5th industrial revolution (also known as industry 5.0 or 5IR), we are poised for another jump forward. A fact about leading an organization during the pandemic is that leaders around the world don^t have any valid reference point from the past to relate to. In such times, spearheading an organization becomes even more challenging for leaders. Today more and more organizations are looking towards the establishment of what we would call ^E-Teams^--teams that can span distances and times to take on challenges that most local and global organizations must address. In this paper, the authors examine some of the similarities between virtual teams and face-to-face teams, looking at the pros and cons of each with respect to team effectiveness. The authors also examine how E-Leadership can contribute to the development of E-teams by reducing process losses and enhancing team member trust and capacities. This research aims to analyze a leadership model suitable for overcoming the global leadership crisis in the era of society 5.0 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research found that there are things that leaders need when there is a crisis is not the treatment that has been previously planned, but rather the behavior and a mindset that can prevent a negative reaction overestimate the crisis and how face the challenges ahead Keywords: Keywords: industry 5.0, e-leadership, effectiveness Topic: Social Science and Humanities |
