Abstract

Covid 19 has already shocked the whole world in 2019 where the disease epidemic has already spread around the world and still recorded a high number of cases to this day. Covid 19 has not only killed many lives but has also damaged the entire economy. This paper makes several contributions to the literature. First, we analyse the relationship CSR performance on the economic development of SMEs. Second, analyze the performance of program characteristics CSR of PT Pertamina. This research is using data retrieval methods. Data analysis method that was used in this study is text analysis. The result is the tendency of respondents by 40 percent states that the CSR characteristics of SMEs in Palembang are classified as corporate citizenship. The level of suitability of the Palembang CSR program, the majority of respondents, namely 46.67 percent stated that the level of conformity of the Pertamina Palembang II CSR Marketing program was included in the high level. The majority of respondents as much as 60 percent stated that the level of sustainability of the Pertamina program was at a moderate level. 53.3 percent of respondents said that the SMEs program empowered them to a moderate extent. The level of participation of the Palembang UMKM program was at a high level of 56.67 percent.
