The development of a science learning package for electrodynamic materials based on the use of fruits and vegetables to improve the critical thinking skills of junior high school students

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to generate and know the effectiveness of science learning package based on the scientific approach on electrodynamic in improving students critical thinking skills. The research population is students of class IX SMPN 1 Pagaralam academic year 2020/2021. The sample in this research was taken by one group pretest-posttest design of 16 students. This research is a research and development (R&D) with ADDIE model: 1) Analysis- 2) Design- 3) Develop- 4) Implementation- 5) Evaluation. Expert material validation results 95,8%, media experts 92,19% with an average percentage of 94,00% validation results with a very decent category. The results of student response questionnaire on the practicality of the science learning package 91,60% with very good category. The result of effectiveness test of implementation of science learning package of N-gain 0,72 with a high category. Thus, the science learning package developed is decent and effective in learning electrodynamic science.
