STUDENTS ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND LINEAR AND QUADRATIC INEQUALITIES BASED ON GENDER IN MATHEMATICS LEARNING Syalendra Putra, Badeni, Saleh Haji

Abstract
The goal of the study was to see how male and female students differed in their understanding of linear and quadratic inequalities. This study is qualitative descriptive research. This study was done in SMK Negeri 6 Seluma, with a total of 25 students as participants. Data triangulation procedures were used to collect data, which included a literature review from a variety of reference books and scientific journals, question and answer documentation, and in-depth interviews with male and female students. Only 24% of students understood how to tackle difficulties, according to the findings. When looking at the gender gap, male students are 16 percent more likely to understanding than female students, who are just 8 percent.
