Abstract
Excellent school or excellently by the society, the category of excellence implied expectations of competencies that owned by graduated students, whether the expectations of students, parents and society , is how far schools can optimize their potential through individualized services in learning, which the results can be seen on graduates competency qualities in intellectual, morale and skills abilities
This research is a qualitative descriptive study that reveals the Excellent Primary School Model from stakeholder^s perspective of the 10 Primary Schools were selected on excellent school. based on the consideration of the education office. Field data collection involves principal, teacher, and administrative staffs, Collecting data using interview, and dukmentation methods, the qualitative analysis used is the copmponential analysis and trend patterns.
Excellent School in the National perspective, viewed from formal criteria measured from the achievement of eight SNP Standards. Generally is the characteristics of Excellence Primary School in Malang can be identified as follow (1) Schools that can provide optimal service to all students with different skills, talents of interest, and learning needs and capable of optimizing the student^s potential through learning and extra-curricular activities for self-actualization and improving self-esteem. (2) that are capable of achieving a culture of quality and achievement culture through the development of school culture. (3) Schools that are capable of creating a religious, independent, and responsible character, respect to diversity, and the spirit of nationalism.
