TYPES OF NAIL PLANTS (Pteridophyta) IN KETAHUN DISTRICT NORTH BENGKULU REGENCY

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of ferns (Pteridophyta) in Ketahun District, North Bengkulu Regency. This research was conducted in January - February 2020 in Ketahun District, North Bengkulu Regency, namely Bukit Indah, Bukit Tinggi, Dusun Raja, Fajar Baru, Giri Kencana, Kualalangi, Lubuk Mindai, Melati Harjo, Ketahun Market, Talang Baru, and Urai. The method used in this research is a direct survey to the research location. While the sampling is done by exploring (exploration) the research location. Identification of samples of ferns (Pteridophyta) in the laboratory of the University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results in this study obtained 11 families and 19 species, namely Family Blechnaceae (Stenochlaena palustris), Family Davalliaceae (Davallia divaricata), Family Polypodiaceae (Drynaria quercifolia, Pyrrosia piloselloides, Pyrrosia nummularifolia, Pityrogramma sp). Ceratopteris thalictroides), Family Aspleniaceae (Asplenium nidus, Asplenium adiantum-ningrum), Family Athyriaceae (Diplazium esculentum), Family Gleicheniaceae (Gleichenia linearis), Family Cycadaceae (Cycas rumphii), Family Lygodiaceae (Lyfoligodium scanepidens), Cordiaceae Nephrolepis falcata, Dryopteris filix-mas), Family Lomariopsidaceae (Nephrolepis biserrata). In the research area, the most commonly found ferns (Pteridophyta) are the Polypodiaceae family. And the village that has the most diversity of ferns is Urai Village. With ecological conditions, namely, Air Temperature 33 - 36 C, Air Humidity 72% - 82%, Soil pH 5.8 - 6.8 and Soil Humidity 35% - 59%.
