Abstract

The concept of physics has a character related to various natural phenomena and is invisible to the eye. The invisible concepts will be very interesting if presented with virtual animation rock. Virtual animation can be presented in physics learning. Electronic teaching materials can be embedded in a variety of virtual animations. Printed teaching materials can be inserted virtual animations with the help of technology. This study aims to describe the application of Augmented Reality technology in presenting various virtual animation videos in explaining the concept of physics. This study uses a qualitative descriptive. The analysis was carried out on the use of virtual animation in the printed teaching materials that have been used. The design for presenting integrated physics teaching materials with augmented reality technology was developed based on the results of the initial analysis. The design of augmented reality-assisted printed teaching materials is expected to be a solution for innovation. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the teaching materials used in physics learning have not used the help of augmented reality technology. Presentation of virtual animation in printed teaching materials using augmented augmented reality technology. Virtual animation can be designed to develop higher thinking skills because it can visualize abstract concepts. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the printed teaching materials that have been used have not been integrated with virtual video. Printed teaching materials can be innovated by using augmented reality technology. Virtual animations that are presented with the help of augmented reality can be accessed in offline teaching materials so that they can be more effective.
