Abstract
Abstract. This study aims to determine the concepts and values of mathematics contained in the Bengkulu cultural musical instrument ^Gendang Panjang^ and its impact on learning mathematics in schools. The method used is descriptive method. The object of research is the Bengkulu cultural musical instrument ^Gendang Panjang^. The instrument is an observation sheet with observation techniques. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results of the study are as follows: The mathematical concepts contained in the musical instrument ^Gendang Panjang^ are a. Flat figures: points, straight lines, triangles, kites, parallelograms, circles, parallel lines, opposite angles, opposite angles, and i. supplementary angle- and b. Build space: cylinder. While the mathematical values contained in the musical instrument ^Drums Panjang^ are regularity (pattern), consistency, universality, perseverance, and self-discipline. The impact on mathematics learning is as a medium and source of learning mathematics for flat shapes, spatial structures, similarity, and transformations.
