Abstract
ABSTRACT. This research aims to determine if there is an effect of TPS learning with mind mapping to increase the activity and student learning outcomes in XI of natural science at SMAN 3 Kaur. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 3 Kaur in 2019. The time of the research was carried out from February 1 to March 1 2019. The sampling in this study used a sampling technique with a non-probability sample. The sample in this study were all students of class XI IPA. The results of the research showed that the average activity for the experimental class (XI science 2) 56.70 and the average activity for the control class (XI science 1) 45.73. Student learning outcomes for the experimental class have an average of 79,81 and student learning outcomes for the control class have an average of 71,92. So it can be concluded that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected so that the use of TPS Learning (Think Pair Share) with mind mapping on the activity and students learning outcomes of class XI of natural science of SMAN 3 Kaur significantly has an effect to the activeness and the students learning outcomes rather than conventional learning
