Abstract. This study aims to determine the relationship and influence of anxiety and perception on learning mathematics on understanding concepts. The research used is ex post facto and analyzed using path analysis. The instrument used an anxiety questionnaire, a perception questionnaire on learning mathematics, and understanding concepts. The population in this study was class VIII SMP Negeri 16 Bengkulu City for the Academic Year 2020/2021, with a research sample of 64 people, namely class VIII.D totaling 32 people and class VIII.E totaling 32 people. The results showed that anxiety affects understanding of concepts, perceptions of learning mathematics also affect understanding of concepts. Hypothesis analysis shows that there is a significant and significant relationship between the instruments.
