Abstract
This study aims to determine the types of Ophiuroidea animals found in Cukuh Beach, South Kaur District, Kaur Regency. This study used a direct survey method to the research location carried out in January-February 2020. The research location was determined by purposive sampling. Sampling used 5 transect lines with a length of 100 m each, then plotted systematically, 1 transect line consisted of 5 plots with a total of 25 plots and the size of each plot was 5x5 m. The results of the study in Cukuh Beach, South Kaur District, Kaur Regency, found as many as 5 species from the Ophiocomidae family with 5 species, namely Ophiocoma erinaceus, Ophiocoma dentata, Ophiocoma brevipes, Ophiocoma echinata and Ophiocoma scolopendrina. The results of the measurement of ecological factors in Cukuh Beach, South Kaur District, Kaur Regency with seawater temperatures ranging from 28.14oC, pH meters ranging from 7.4 and salinity ranging from 33.28%.
