The Effect of Habits of Mind on Mathematical Reasoning Ability of Undergraduate Mathematics Education Students in Bengkulu City during the Covid-19 Pandemic Mathematics Education Program, Bengkulu University Abstract This research aimed to determine the effect of habits of mind on students^ mathematical reasoning abilities. This research used an ex-post facto quantitative approach. The population in this research were Mathematics Education students in Bengkulu City who were taking Mathematics Statistics courses. Sampling is done by census method, which was taking all the population as research samples. The sample in this research amounted to 83 respondents. The research instrument consisted of a habits of mind questionnaire and a mathematical reasoning ability test. This research was conducted online during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data were tested for analytical requirements first, namely descriptive statistical tests, normality tests and linearity tests. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using regression analysis techniques using SPSS. With a significance level of 5%, the results showed that there was a significant direct effect between habits of mind on mathematical reasoning abilities of 0,813. The impact of habits of mind on mathematical reasoning ability was 66,2%, while 33,8% was the impact of other variables not examined in this research. So, it can be concluded that there was an impact of habits of mind on the mathematical reasoning ability of Mathematics Education students in Bengkulu City during the COVID-19 pandemic.
