Abstract

This study aims to determine the type and density of bivalves in the Manna River Manna District South Bengkulu Regency Bengkulu Province This research was carried out from January to February The method used in this study was a direct survey to the research location The identification of the type of bivalves was carried out at the Bivalve Laboratory of the University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu From the results of research in the Manna River Manna District Bivalves were found which belonged to one order namely the Order Eulamellibranchia with 2 families namely Corbiculidae with the species Corbicula javanica Corbicula fluminea Polymesoda expansion polymesoda erosa and the Unionidae family with the species Pilsbryoconcha exilis This data is then calculated using the Density formula The density results in the Manna River Manna District South Bengkulu Regency Bengkulu Province the highest density is Corbicula fluminea and the density is Corbicula fluminea the lowest is polymesoda erosa
