Development of Technology-Based Missouri Mathematics Project(MMP) Learning Method at SMKN 5 Bengkulu City

Abstract

In general, learning Mathematics is done using the lecture method because of the difficulty level of the subject. In this study, researchers used the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) method which generally uses 5 stages using time in each process, namely Review (10 Minutes), Development (35 Minutes), Control Exercise (20 Minutes), Seat Work (15 Minutes) and Assignment ( 5 minutes). This method is applied in the classroom, without technology and is used in the subject of similarity discussion mathematics at SMKN 5 Bengkulu City.

In this study, researchers want to develop the MissouriMathematicsProject (MMP) method using Adobe Flash Professional CS.5 Application. This application is later expected to provide a more conducive learning atmosphere and can improve results
student learning on the subject of mathematics the subject of Congruence.
