SYNTHESIS SOLID LIPID NANOPARTICLES-KEBIUL SEED (Caesalpinia Bonduc L) AND TEST OF LEUKOCYTES, and also HEMOGLOBIN IN MICE DIABETIC Universitas Bengkulu Abstract The purpose of this study was to synthesize traditional medicine carriers in the form of Solid lipid nanoparticles-Kebiul seed (SLN-Ks) and Preclinical test on diabetic mice to see the number of leukocytes, and hemoglobin. The synthesis was done by method of high speed homogenization and ultrasonication. Forty mice were divided into 8 groups. Group C0 were given aquadest, group C1 were given alloxan, groups T1, T2, T3 ware treated with alloxan and glibenclamide (T1), that is a diabetes medicine on the market, and trimyristin (T2), and crude extract of Kebiul seeds at a dose of 0.086 g / kgbw (T3). groups T4, T5 and T6 were treated with alloxan and SLN-Ks at a dose of 0.086 g / kgbw- 0.028 g / kgbw and 0.017g / kgbw. SLN-Ks measuring 392 nm and activity test results, SLN-Ks at a dose of 0.017 g / kgbw can reduce the number of leukocytes and increase the amount of hemogtobin close to normal conditions in mice, in which is better than glibenclamide. SLN-Ks at a dose of 0.017 g / kgbw as a traditional medicine delivery system of Kebiul seed extract with a dose of one fifth of the effective dose of Kebiul seed extract.
