The Application of Inquiry Learning Model in Increasing Students Learning Outcomes in Plant Anatomy Course Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Universitas Bengkulu Abstract The selection of learning innovations in the 4.0 education era should be based on modern learning principles. Among them, Inquiry Learning model plays an essential role in forming a self-concept. The purpose of this study is to improve students learning outcomes in the Plant Anatomy course through the application of the Inquiry Learning model. The type of this research is categorized as Classroom Action Research (CAR), which uses 40 students as respondents. The data collection procedure was performed using field observation, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The analysis on the data was conducted by employing descriptive statistics analysis. In this regards, the study was performed in two cycles, each cycle comprises of two meetings with a time allocation of 2 times 50 minutes. Our findings indicate that the Inquiry Learning model can improve students cognitive learning outcomes. The results also showed that an increase in post-test scores was found on cognitive learning outcomes in each cycle. In the first cycle, the percentage of completeness was 70.5%, while in the second cycle there was an increase in completeness to 89%.
