Abstract
Industrial era 4.0 and in this pandemic era, the performance of public health centres (puskesmas) is very important. Puskesmas can meet these expectations if it is built from the performance of health workers well. This study aims to elaborate and analyze a model to improve the performance of health workers which constructed as a result of improved talent management and knowledge management.
This research was conducted in 2 (two) health centres, namely Puskesmas Durikumba and Puskesmas Lara, Karossa District, Mamuju Tengah District. The sampling technique used was total sampling, but in the course of this study only 70 out of 74 officers filled out the questionnaire completely at Puskesmas Durikumba and 45 out of 53 officers at Puskesmas Lara. The final total sample obtained was 115 officers. The research model and approach uses quantitative explanatory by choosing structural equation modelling (SEM) as the basis for statistical analysis to determine the influence and relationship between variables whose data is processed with AMOS software.
The results of the study found that talent management can encourage improved knowledge management and improve the performance of health workers in research locations. Talent management that is carried out consistently starting from recruitment, retaining existing talents, and with a good development program will encourage employee performance improvements and at the same time encourage improvements in knowledge management. However, knowledge management cannot improve the performance of health staff as constructed at the beginning of this study.
