Abstract

Children are very range of health risks, the role of mothers / parents towards childrens attention is needed especially for children who are under five. Parenting errors will affect the health and development of children. The place and method of care will affect the health of children, its relation to climate (temperature, wind, and humidity) in extreme coastal areas will affect parenting style so that childrens health and development can be maximized. The aim of the study is to look at the effects of climate on the way and place of childcare and their impact on childrens health. The method used is field exploration by observing how parents take care of their children, and measuring the temperature and humidity of the caregiver, besides looking for secondary data at the local health center regarding the level of health of infants (health center visits for treatment and types of diseases that are mainly affected by climate). The result is that parents take care of their children in a place that is considered comfortable in terms of climate and how to care more naturally and adapt to the age of the child.
