THE DEVELOPMENT OF SHARIA BANK SOCIAL FUNCTIONS IN MONEY WAQF IN INDONESIA Siska Lis Sulistiani- Intan Nurachmi

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the development of the social function of Islamic banks in Indonesia in the cash waqf sector, based on Law No. 21 of 2008 concerning Islamic banking and Law No. 41 of 2004 concerning waqf. Through normative juridical research methods, it is possible to know the level of legal synchronization and the conditions of its development. The results of this study indicate that in the last 2 years the increase in the number of Islamic banks receiving cash waqf in Indonesia has increased to 22 Islamic banks whose origin in 2017 was only 18, this is accompanied by an increase in the performance of socialization through various devices owned by Islamic banks in Indonesia.
