Abstract
The readiness of students to get married is essential to creating a prosperous and happy family. The age of students who are in early adulthood is a critical stage to gain knowledge about marriage. Not all students have the right attitude about marriage- some have a negative attitude and even avoid the subject of marriage. This study aims to reveal the relationship between knowledge about marriage and student attitudes towards marriage. This research method is correlational with a quantitative approach. Research subjects are 306 secondary level students from six leading universities in Bandung. The research instrument was developed based on a comprehensive theoretical study of knowledge and attitudes towards marriage. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 18. The results showed a relationship between students^ knowledge about marriage and their attitude toward marriage. Although the correlation score is deterministically minimal, there is a correlation value at p <0.05. In conclusion, the attitude that arises from students towards marriage has to do with their knowledge. There are also a few that show that a lot of knowledge about marriage does not necessarily produce a right attitude towards marriage. For further research, it recommended looking at demographic factors in the formation of student attitudes towards marriage to see how students prepared to make marriage decisions.
