Abstract
Politics has an essential role for the establishment and implementation of a system in various aspects, two of which are capitalist and Islamic economic politics with their respective political concepts. Therefore, this research was conducted to explain the differences between these politics systems and discover their influence in Indonesia. The method used normative legal study using secondary data collected through library study and analyzed qualitatively through interpretation. The results conclude that in the former system, the large capital owners are the masters of production sources, distribution mechanism, and consumption restrictions, who have the freedom principle of individual property ownership, and economic and free competition. Hence, it causes excessive accumulation and unequal distribution of wealth of unlimited free competition. Meanwhile, the latter system emphasizes individual freedom, social equality, social security, widespread wealth distribution, and individuals and society welfare. Hence, it causes balance and prioritizes the values of togetherness and cooperation.
