Abstract

From an early age children are taught to be kind to others, to share and to love others, but we are rarely taught how to be kind to ourselves. Many children excel, but are emotionally exhausted. Emotional fatigue is what triggers stress. So that when growing up a child does not have emotional maturity and stability. Especially during a pandemic like now, which requires people to continue to be patient. During a pandemic, children are at home to maintain their health. Learning activities are carried out in full by utilizing online learning. The existence of digital story books as a means of learning for children is very helpful in developing themselves in the pandemic era.
This study aims to evaluate the compassion learning model by utilizing the compassion series digital storybook developed by the author. The research method used in this research is development research. The development model used by the researcher is the ADDIE development model, as the name implies, the researcher has carried out five stages, namely Analysis (analysis), Design (design), Development (development), Implement (implication), and Evaluate (evaluation). To see the feasibility of the model, an evaluation of the model is carried out.
The results of the model trials conducted showed that the assessment percentage was 84% with the very feasible assessment category, and 16% stated that this model was feasible. Based on the trial results, this model is suitable for teaching compassion to early childhood.
