Abstract
Indonesia is famously known as one the biggest user of social media in the world. Recent data shows that Indonesia ranked 4th in the list of Internet user in the world (APJII, 2019). Moreover, recent data reported by We Are Social in January 2020 has placed Indonesia in the third place of the largest absolute growth of Internet User (17%, additional 25.365.368 users). However, enormous problems arise due to the low level of digital literacy among its citizen (Japelidi, 2020). This pose bigger issue when Indonesians are exposed with disinformation/misinformation popularly called as ^hoax^. To overcome the matter, digital literacy curriculum that already provided by international organization such as UNESCO (Media and Information Literacy curriculum), UNICEF, Newseum, and other prominent names in the field should be adapted in national context. The program called Tular Nalar then created by several scholars, academician, and digital literacy activist to implement the job. This research reports and analyses the process in adapting and contextualizing the digital literacy curriculum for local/national interest. Employing the ADDIE scheme of analysis for instructional curriculum design, the ongoing process has identified several themes to be incorporated in the curriculum. By identified those themes, the problem of implanting digital literacy could be adapted and customized according to the need, the field of issue, and the cultural character of the audience.
