Digitalizing Islamic Prayer Times Towards Accurate Data

Abstract

In the past, Islamic prayer times were obtained manually. This schedule is usually found in great mosques. This schedule is made by a government or a religious figure who understands astronomy. In the present, according to developments of sciences and technology, Islamic prayer times now can calculate digitaly i.e., in the form of prayer time programs or application and some are by website. Both display data based on mathematics. It^s changed in data, is it getting more accurate or vice versa? And what is the concept of the standard that must be found in a digital Islamic prayer times? This research used desciptive qualitative approach. After analyzing it, the important thing is the digitalizing the Islamic prayer times. Its form of Islamic prayer times is very efficient to distribute, easily accessible to everyone, and provides certainty in the prayer schedule. For Islamic prayer times of data are taken online and it^s must choosed by an official and trusted website.
