Abstract
A quality elementary school is a community demand that needs to be responded by the managers professionally and proportionally. Primary school managers are obliged to improve the quality of all components of their education management with full commitment. The quality of education in elementary schools shall not improve without being accompanied by a systematic and sustainable implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI). The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the various stages taken in the implementation of SPMI at SD Muhammadiyah 7 Bandung. The method used in this study is descriptive analytic method with qualitative approach. The techniques that used are interviews, observation, and documentation study. Results showed that with comprehensive implementation of the SPMI at SD Muhammadiyah 7 Bandung through five stages, which are: (1) Quality Mapping (2) Compilation of Quality Improvement Plans (3) Implementation of Quality Improvement Plans, (4) Monitoring and Evaluation of Quality Improvement Plans Implementation, (5) Establishment of New Quality Standards and Formulation of Quality Improvement Strategies.
