Abstract

Learning English vocabulary in high school is difficult due to less of fun, creative and interesting. One of the reasons is the lack of creativity from the teacher to make problems resolution. Coupled with the current pandemic era, teachers are also required to be able to develop teaching materials minimizing face-to-face with students. Therefore the learning development is urgent, especially to explore the creativity of teachers and foster students^ interest in English lessons. This research is descriptive qualitative, describing the making media process, evaluating learning and analyzing the positive impact of the teaching materials in the classroom. The purpose of this research is to find how making media, measuring the effectiveness of this media, explaining its advantages. This research is also expected to foster students^ interest in learning new vocabulary and developing contextual communicative-based teaching media.
