Gender-based Disaster Preparedness Innovation Studies UNISBA Abstract Digital era gives significant impact to the spreading of the disaster preparedness information in Cikole Village, Lembang Sub District, West Bandung Regency, West Java Province, Indonesia. The result of the study shows that the information regarding disasters that have been published by the government agencies in Indonesia have always been accessed by the people of Cikole Village. However, the gender condition, the internet signal, and the ability of buying internet credit are uneven within the people in Cikole Village, therefore the information is not optimally received by them. Cikole Village is the village that is prone to catastrophe due to its location is in the active Lembang fault, thus the spreading of disaster preparedness information has to be done evenly and quickly throughout the society. Therefore, there must be an innovation in regards to disaster preparedness which can be adjusted with the social and economic condition of the people. The aim of this study is: to describe the gender-based disaster preapredness innovation in Cikole Village. The research method used qualitative research method with rationalistic approach from the grand concept of innovation for disaster preparedness and gender.
