Consumers Interest in Using SyarQ As An Islamic Online Instalment Platform: A Study Using Technology Acceptance Model and Theory of Planned Behavior

Abstract

This study analized factors that influence the consumers interest on using SyarQ service as an Islamic online instalment platform using Acceptance Model and Theory of Planned Behavior. This is a quantitative and explorative study using testing hypotheses of SEM method to demonstrate the influence of the hypothesis to the study. The data collected by giving online questionnaire in Google Form and then spread to the users and the communities of SyarQ service. The samples consist of 100 respondents. The data was analized by using software application Smart PLS 3.0. The result of the study shows that the interest of the users on using SyarQ service as an Islamic online instalment platform influenced by personal attitude and behavior in using a technological service. This implies that muslim community has more awareness of Islamic financial compliance as well as the ease of use offered by recent financial technology adoption.
