Mindfulness at work in women working in Islamic universities Faculty of Psychology, Bandung Islamic University Abstract BPS reveals data that currently the female labor force participation rate is 55.4 percent, increasing by 0.40 percent from 2017-2018. The involvement of women in various occupations shows an urge to contribute to the acceleration of the globalization era, one of which is working in educational institutions, in this case Islamic universities. Currently, Islamic tertiary institutions have a role in encouraging public awareness in the development of science as well as religious awareness. The high demand to balance science and religious values --can cause conflict for the workers in it, including women who have become mothers. High potential for conflict often appears in working women who already have children due to their inability to carry out more roles or multiple roles (role overload). This will have an impact on the difficulty of enjoying work and managing psychological awareness so as not to interfere with the quality and productivity of work which is then referred to as mindfulness at work. This study aims to describe what affects the mindfulness at work of a working woman. Keywords: Mindfulness, women working Topic: Human Wellbeing in Islam |
