Analysis of Human Resources Competency on The Efficiency of Pesantren Financial Management In West Java Using Data Environment Analysis (DEA) Method

Abstract

Abstract- The management of Islamic boarding schools is currently still using simple management. That is due to the limited quality of human resources managing the pesantren. The educational background of the financial manager pesantren also be factors behind, 33 managers of schools that are in the area of Depok and surrounding just three financial managers have a background p Education of accounting, and the rest is not derived from finance or accounting. Also, based on the interviews with 7 Islamic boarding schools in West Java, they said that pesantren expenditures exceeded the budgeted funds.
The type of research used is qualitative with an analysis of the data using the method of the data environment analysis (DEA). Mechanical collection data in the form of questionnaires given to the board schools that exist in the Java West, with the total respondents as many as nine schools. The results are the competence of managers in pesantren still not have an excellent capability of planning and organizing finances, so that is affected to the management of finances and level of efficiency, which from nine schools five schools are already efficient ( score 1) and four schools are not yet efficient ( score <1). Pesantren are not efficient is due to existing still that have not been doing the planning so that expenditure is more substantial than the reception.
