Abstract

The curriculum has a role as an instrument to conserve the culture of a nation. Without a good curriculum, the culture of a nation can be instantly engulfed by the earth because there are no institutions that try to preserve it. By including it in the cultural curriculum of a nation it is hoped that it can be passed on to the next generation so that the nation^s children and grandchildren know at least the existence of the culture of their ancestors, this is what is meant by a conservative role. This research uses a quantitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was carried out by means of a questionnaire and in-depth interviews (dept interview). The resulting data were analyzed using an interactive model. This analysis technique starts from data collection, after the data collected is reduced, which data is suitable and in accordance with the research objectives. The next step is presenting data and verification and drawing conclusions. Based on the description above, this research is considered important to be carried out as input for policy makers at Unisba in order to organize higher education that links and matches according to the needs of the user community. In addition, it is in response to the demands and basic guidance of compiling a curriculum based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) which is being and will be implemented in all tertiary institutions in Indonesia.
