A Study about Integrated Design Project between Industry and Education: Haus am Horn in Weimar and CONEFO Building in Jakarta 1) Faculty of Arts and Design, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. Abstract Design becomes a way to answer problems in society, so design disciplines must be integrated with other disciplines. Design education institutions have the chance to provide opportunities for students to interact directly with the industrial world. An integrated design project can be a learning model to create a collaborative mindset in design education. Literature studies show that an integrated design project was carried out by Staatliches Bauhaus in Germany in 1923 through the construction of the Haus am Horn as a solution to the housing problem involving social, economic and technical aspects- while Institut Teknologi Bandung has created a field laboratory in the interior and exterior work of the CONEFO building complex in 1964. This study aims to find the similarities between the two models of integrated design projects, which confirm the collaboration between practitioners and academics. The results of the study provide the assumption that there is a similar Bauhaus activity model in design activities at Institut Teknologi Bandung, which then becomes part of the overall research on the Influence of Bauhaus on Design in Indonesia.
